Jakarta – The 17th round of the2017 Formula 1 (F1) season will be held at Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas, the United States on October 22, 2017.

COTA is a new racing circuit. It is regularly used for various international racing competitions, including F1, MotoGP and World Endurance Racing.

COTA is a unique racing circuit. It is quite different compared to other international racing circuits such as Sepang, Abu Dhabi and Shanghai.

Firstly, the 5.5 kilometer racing circuit has many wide corners. These corners have several racing lines.

Secondly, the anti-clockwise racing circuit has a large elevation change. The area between start line and Turn 1 has an elevation change of around 41 meters.

After that, you will take a 180 degree corner. Next, you will face an ‘S’ corner. The ‘S’ corner is similar with the Maggotts-Becketts-Chappel area at the Silverstone circuit.

After the tenth corner, you will take a sharp left corner. Next, you will face another sharp left corner. Overtaking is relatively easy at the straight line between Turn 11 and Turn 12.

The strongest G-Force can be felt in the Turn 16-Turn17-Turn 18 area. You can drive up to 250 kilometers between the three corners. You must have strong physical condition in the area.

Sean Gelael will become Scuderia Toro Rosso driver in the Free Practice 1 (FP1) session at COTA. He will need to maintain good performance to overcome the circuit.
