SILVERSTONE - The busiest time of the year will finally come to completion for the FIA Formula 2 Championship and PERTAMINA PREMA Theodore Racing this weekend at Silverstone. The driver combination of Nyck De Vries and Sean Gelael, lining-up for the seventh round of 2018, the third out of three straight weekends, is looking forward to a prompt rebound after the struggles suffered in the previous event at Red Bull Ring. The team has been dominant at Silverstone in the past, but the series' new technical package is expected to further level the playing field so the competition will be heated.

De Vries, who scored his first win of the year at Circuit Paul Ricard two weeks ago, is still looking forward to finding better fortunes after being hit by particularly bad luck in the first part of the season. The same goes for Gelael. The Indonesian showed great potential in terms of performance and consistency. He will put his experience to fruition in the UK.

On the fast, 5.9-kilometer British track, the series is bracing for a classic round which will be crucial in shaping up the remainder of the year with more iconic venues coming afterward.

René Rosin - Team Principal
"Red Bull Ring hasn't been the easiest weekend due to a combination of internal and external factors not necessarily depending on us. This is racing though, and we must regroup, prepare and remain focused. This race will complete a very busy stint, and we look forward to ending it on a high note."
