JEREZ - Indonesian racing driver Sean Gelael is committed to work hard ahead of the ninth Formula 2 round at the Jerez circuit in Spain. He is confident to collect more points at theJerez circuit.
During mid-season break, Sean spent spare times with various exercises. Sean joined Formula 1 Free Practice 1 sessions in Singapore and Malaysia.
In Singapore, Sean showed an impresive performance in his debut Formula 1 FP1 session. He can control Toro Rosso's STR12 car in wet conditions. He can maintain composure in challenging situations.
In Malaysia, Sean showed another imprevise performance in his second Formula 1 FP1 session. He was ranked 14th in the classification. He was ranked better than Sergio Perez, Antonio Giovinazzi, Romain Grosjean, Pascal Wehrlein and Charles Leclerc.
"It is time to focus again on Formula 2. I hope to get points again like in Monza," Sean said.
The two remaining Formula 2 rounds willl be held in Jerez, Spain and Yas Marina, Abu Dhabi. The drivers table is currently led by Prema Racing driver Charles LeClerc. The constructors table is still led by Russian Times team.
Sean currently is fifteenth in the drivers's table. He could improve his position in the two remaining rounds.
Sean's team Pertamina Arden currently is sixth in the constructors table. The team could take the top five position in the few remaining races.
