Grisignano di Zocco - Pertamina Prema Theodore Racing team has made various preparations ahead of the 2018 Formula 2 series. The team has launched new cars for their current drivers, Sean Gelael and Nyck de Vries.
Through a one minute video posted on @PREMA_Team twitter account, the Italy-based team recently introduced the new car model. The 2017 F2 series runner-up currently cooperates with Team Jagonya Ayam.
Sean will use the number 3 plate, while De Vries will use the number 4 plate. According to the regulation, as last year’s runner-up, Prema can use No. 3 and No. 4 plates this season. Meanwhile, as last year’s champion, Russian Time can use No.1 and No.2 plates this season.
The new model is a bit different compared to the previous one. The new design has elegant looks dominated by red and silver colors.
Red and silver colors are taken from Team Jagonya Ayam’s new colors this season. The yellow color was used by Team Jagonya Ayam from 2014-2017.
Red color represents courage and preparedness. On the other hand, silver color represents hope and speed. Meaning, Prema is ready to compete in the upcoming series.
