BOGOR - “ Indonesian Racing driver Sean Gelael will try Formula 1 car this weekend. He will become Toro Rosso driver in the Free Practice 1 session of the Malaysia Grand Prix on Friday, September 29, 2017.
The young racing driver is optimistic ahead of the free practice Session. He is quite familiar with the Sepang International Circuit. Furthermore, he has known the character of Carloz Sainz Jr's STR16 car.
I know the circuit. It is more normal than Singapore. The team preparation is enough now, said Sean at Sentul Go-Kart Circuit in Sentul, Bogor on Sunday, September 24, 2017.
Sean joined the Free Practice 1 session of the Singapore Grand Prix earlier this month. He showed a good performance. He recorded a competitive lap time.
The Formula 2 driver was praised by Toro Rosso crew in Singapore. He was also supported by the crew this time.
If I can be consistent, my performance will be better, Sean said.
In Malaysia, Sean is not ordered to record fast lap times. He is instructed to provide valuable inputs about car components as well as aerodynamics.
