Grisignano di Zocco – Pertamina Prema Theodore Racing with Jagonya Ayam KFC Indonesia team has introduced a new livery for the 2018 Formula 2 series. The team will use a red and silver combination in the tournament.
The red color represents courage and challenge, while silver represents hope and speed. Jagonya Ayam previously used the yellow color from 2014-2017.
Pertamina Prema Theodore Racing team will be represented by Indonesian driver Sean Gelael and Dutch driver Nyck de Vries this year. Sean will use the number 3 plate, while De Vries will use the number 4 plate.
According to the regulation, as last year’s runner-up, Prema can use No. 3 and No. 4 plates this season. Meanwhile, as last year’s champion, Russian Time can use No.1 and No.2 plates this season.
Besides Jagonya Ayam KFC Indonesia, Pertamina Prema Theodore Racing team will be sponsored by BNI and Bank Muamalat this year.
Sean Gelael was very enthusiastic about the new livery. The video was posted on his Instagram account.
“I have new spirit and hope with Prema team. We hopefully can have better results than previous seasons,” Sean said.
The F2 series will consist of 12 rounds this year. The series will start at Sakhir circuit on March 6-8. The competition will end at Yas Marina circuit on November 23-25.
Ten teams will join the championship this year. Five of them have announced the drivers for 2018 season. They are Pertamina Theodore Racing (Sean and de Vries), Carlin (Lando Norris and Sergio Sette Camara), Charouz (Louis Deletraz and Antonio Fuoco), ART Grand Prix (Jack Aitken and George Russel) and Russian Time (Artem Markelov and Tadasuke Makino).
